Use RUST responsibly, exercise within your limits, and understand that blocking and rep counting can sometimes be imperfect. RUST is a habit tool, not medical advice or a parental-control system.
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Xiron Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your use of the RUST Android application (the “App”). By installing or using RUST, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What RUST does
RUST lets you choose apps to block, set blocking schedules, and earn limited access time by completing camera-counted push-ups or squats. By default, you get 15 free minutes each day, can earn up to 60 additional minutes per day, and earn 30 seconds per rep (adjustable from 5 to 60 seconds). We may change, add, or remove features over time.
3. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 13 years old to use RUST. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use RUST only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to use RUST lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, misuse its permissions, or copy, modify, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
4. Permissions and device compatibility
RUST needs camera permission to count exercises and the Android Accessibility service to detect the foreground app and enforce blocking. If you deny or revoke these permissions, some or all features will not work. Blocking behavior can vary by device, Android version, manufacturer battery settings, and other apps. We do not guarantee that every app will be blocked at all times.
5. Exercise and safety
RUST is a rep-counting tool. It is not medical advice, a personal trainer, or a guarantee that any exercise is safe for you. Exercise only within your ability, with appropriate form and in a safe space, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new exercise routine if you have any health concerns. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to exercise.
6. Availability and limitations
The App may contain bugs, inaccuracies, or interruptions. Rep detection can miss or miscount movements, and system updates may affect blocking. Do not rely on RUST as a security, parental-control, emergency, or device-management system.
7. Pricing and purchases
RUST does not currently charge for any features. If paid features are introduced, prices, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before purchase and handled through Google Play under Google Play's terms and refund policies.
8. Intellectual property
RUST, including its name, branding, design, and software, is owned by Xiron Studio or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Android devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
9. Third-party services
The App downloads a pose-estimation model from Google-hosted storage, and is distributed through Google Play. Your use of Android, Google Play, and other third-party services is subject to those providers' terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RUST is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or effective in changing your habits. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded where you live.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xiron Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of RUST. Because RUST is currently free, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using RUST and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend, change, or discontinue the App, or end your license to use it if you breach these Terms, where reasonably necessary and subject to applicable law. Sections 8 to 14 continue to apply after termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as RUST develops. We will publish the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for important changes, tell you in the App or on this page. If you keep using RUST after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Xiron Studio is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@xiron.studio so we can try to resolve it informally. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims in your local courts.
