Privacy policy.

RUST works without a RUST account and without a RUST server. Camera images are processed on your Android device and are never saved or uploaded. The App checks which app is open so it can enforce the limits you choose. It does not read what is on your screen. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
1. Who we are
RUST (the “App”) is an Android application published by Xiron Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have. You can contact us at support@xiron.studio.
2. Information the App handles
- Camera and body-pose information: when you use the rep counter, the camera feed is processed on your device to estimate body-joint positions and count push-ups or squats. Camera images are not saved and are not uploaded. Pose data is used only on your device to count reps.
- Which app is in the foreground: if you turn on RUST's Android Accessibility service, the App checks the package name of the app currently open to see whether it is on your block list and, if so, shows the blocking screen. RUST does not read text, messages, passwords, or any other content shown inside that app.
- Your settings and usage totals: your selected apps, blocking schedule, time-per-rep setting, remaining and earned time, and daily per-app usage totals are stored only on your device.
- Pose model download: the first time the rep counter is needed, the App downloads a pose-estimation model (about 9 MB) from Google-hosted storage. As with any download, Google may receive standard connection data such as your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy. No personal information from the App is sent with this request.
3. Why the App asks for permissions
Camera: to detect body pose and count exercises. The camera is active only while the rep counter is open and turns off when you leave that screen.
Accessibility service: to detect which app is in the foreground and apply your block list. This is the core feature of RUST. It is not used to inspect screen content, record input, or collect data for any other purpose. The App explains this before you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in Android Settings › Accessibility.
Internet: only to download the pose model.
4. What we do not do
RUST has no account system, no backend server, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising. We do not receive your selected-app list, camera images, rep counts, or usage totals. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. If a future version adds any of these features, we will update this policy before that version is released.
5. Payments
The current version of RUST does not process payments. If paid features are introduced, purchases will be handled by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. We will not receive your full payment card details.
6. Retention and deletion
Your settings and time-budget data stay on your device and reset according to the App's daily rules. RUST does not keep a long-term history. You can delete all App data at any time by clearing RUST's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the App. Because we never receive this data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
7. Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed to handle your request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Since the App keeps your data on your device, you control it directly. For any request about emails you have sent us, contact support@xiron.studio.
9. Children
RUST is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App itself does not collect personal information from any user. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
Keeping camera processing and settings on your device means your data is not sent over the internet. However, no software or device storage is completely secure. Keep your device and Android version up to date.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App's features, permissions, or data practices change. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and where the law requires, we will tell you about important changes in the App or on this page.
